Ingredients:

  • ·       1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • ·       1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • ·       2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ·       2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
  • ·       1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ·       1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • ·       2 green chillies, finely chopped (optional)
  • ·       1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • ·       1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ·       1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • ·       1 teaspoon salt
  • ·       1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • ·       2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ·       8-10 skewers

Recipe Of Beef Seekh Kabab @The Dish Diary

1.        In a large bowl, mix together ground meat, onion, garlic, ginger, cilantro, mint leaves, green chillies (if using), cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, garam masala powder, and vegetable oil. Use your hands to mix well and make sure everything is evenly distributed.


2.      Soak the skewers in water for about 30 minutes before using to prevent them from burning.

3.      Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.


4.       Divide the meat mixture into 8-10 equal portions. Take one portion and form it around a skewer, pressing the meat around the skewer to make a cylindrical shape. Repeat with the remaining portions.


5.      Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.


6.      Serve hot with some mint chutney or yogurt dip on the side.
