Ingredients:

  • ·       1 lb. ground chicken
  • ·       2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ·       1 tsp salt
  • ·       1/4 tsp carom seeds
  • ·       1/4 tsp ajwain seeds
  • ·       1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • ·       1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • ·       1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • ·       1 tbsp garam masala
  • ·       1 tbsp ginger paste
  • ·       1 tbsp garlic paste
  • ·       1/2 cup frozen peas
  • ·       1/2 cup chopped onions
  • ·       1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • ·       2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • ·       Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions Of Full Recipe @The Dish Diary

1.        In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, carom seeds, ajwain seeds, and oil. Gradually add water to form a firm dough. Cover the dough and set aside.


2.      In a skillet, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and garam masala. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.


3.      Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces with a spatula. Add ginger paste and garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.


4.       Add peas, onions, cilantro, and green chilies. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and let cool.


5.      Preheat the oil for frying over medium heat. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin, circular shape.


6.      Cut each circle in half to form two semi-circles. Take one semi-circle and form a cone, sealing the edges with water.


7.       Fill the cone with 1-2 tbsp of the chicken mixture. Seal the top of the cone with water to form a triangle.


8.      Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.


9.      Fry the samosas in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.


10.    Serve hot with your favorite chutney or dipping sauce. Enjoy!
