1 lb. pizza dough
·
1/2 cup tomato sauce
·
8 oz. fresh mozzarella cheese
·
Fresh basil leaves
·
Salt and pepper
·
Olive oil

Preheat your oven to 450°F
(230°C).
2.
Stretch the pizza dough out to
form a round shape, about 12 inches in diameter.
3.
Place the pizza dough onto a
baking sheet or pizza stone.
4.
Spread the tomato sauce over the
pizza dough, leaving about 1/2 inch of space around the edges.
5.
Slice the fresh mozzarella cheese
into rounds, and place them on top of the tomato sauce.
6.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and
pepper over the cheese.
7.
Drizzle a small amount of olive
oil over the pizza.
8.
Bake the pizza in the oven for
about 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is
melted and bubbly.
9.
Remove the pizza from the oven
and let it cool for a minute.
10.
Tear the fresh basil leaves into
small pieces, and sprinkle them over the pizza.
11.
Slice the pizza into slices and
serve hot.
